We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support Clean Transportation initiatives focused on truck and school bus electrification. This role will lead efforts to develop and manage Fleet Electrification Plans (FEPs) for trucking fleets and oversee an existing electric school bus program.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the intake, review, and approval of applications, including scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
Provide technical oversight of projects, including route analysis, charging plans, and site planning.
Engage with utilities, trucking fleets, school districts, and contractors to support electrification programs.
Track, document, and report on project progress, budgets, and outcomes.
Contribute to outreach, education, and stakeholder engagement.
Perform other duties that advance clean transportation goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (transportation, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering preferred).
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to engage confidently with external stakeholders (fleets, school districts, consultants, utilities).
Familiarity with clean transportation, electric vehicles, and EV infrastructure strongly preferred.
Experience with Salesforce, NEIS, and Microsoft Office or ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
Organized, process-driven, and able to manage projects independently.
Additional Details:
Remote role with occasional in-person team meetings in NYC or Albany.
Minimal travel required (less than 5%).
Contractor must provide their own PC, cell phone, and reliable high-speed internet.
Position is expected to start October 1, 2025, with an initial two-year term at 100% FTE.
