Process Engineer (95-120K)
 
We have an excellent opportunity available for a Process Engineer in the Utica/Rome, NY area.

As a Process Engineer, you’ll work to develop and optimize processes that strengthen quality, cut costs, and elevate productivity throughout the organization.

Key duties will include:

• Develop and implement quality standards and controls.
• Lead development and optimization of manufacturing/extrusion processes for new and existing products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
• Analyze process data to design and implement improvements that reduce variability and increase yields.
• Partner with suppliers to enhance equipment performance and product quality.
• Oversee installation and evaluation of new equipment and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope projects, collect and analyze data, and lead implementation.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or related Engineering field.
• 2–10+ years in a manufacturing environment with proven technical and relationship skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Minitab, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Lean/5S, OEE, and root cause problem-solving experience.
• Strong communicator with ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Skilled in statistical analysis for process optimization.
• Creative thinker with attention to detail, able to lead both day-to-day improvements and strategic initiatives.
