Production Manager (90-120K)

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Production Manager in the Auburn, NY area.

This role will lead clean room operations producing medical / healthcare industry products.

Shift Hours: M-F 7AM – 3:30PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 30 production employees.
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee clean room processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Develop and mentor shift coordinators, building leadership strength across the team.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and automation teams on process improvements and new equipment integration.
• Drive efficiency in production scheduling, labor planning, and cost control.
• Support qualification processes and programs (IQ/OQ/PQ, APQP, etc.).
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Build strong employee engagement through training, development, and performance management.

Qualifications:

• AAS or BS Degree (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor / Manager within a technical manufacturing process environment.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement/lean manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
