Depot Electronic Technician / 61554
$22.50-29.50/hr DOE + 10% shift differential

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Depot Electronic Technician to support manufacturing operations in an established company. This a temporary, full-time role on 2ndShift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). This position involves testing, troubleshooting, and reworking electronic warfare and radar systems, including RF, digital processing, and power/voltage-based components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic systems and sub-assemblies
• Utilize automated and manual test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF power meters
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues
• Execute validation tests on RF and electronics-based systems, including component-level troubleshooting
• Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Document discrepancies accurately and contribute to continuous process improvements

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in electronics technology or military/technical school training, plus 3+ years of relevant experience OR
• High school diploma with 6+ years of related experience in electronics testing/manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Proficiency in using test equipment and interpreting schematics
• Microsoft Office skills; Linux command line experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without accommodations
• IPC J-STD-001 Solder Certification is a plus
