Senior Manufacturing Engineer (90-105K)

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for an established Manufacturer near the Binghamton, NY area.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and revise work instructions, process documentation, and job travelers
• Lead and support CI and Lean projects across production and operations
• Collaborate with team leads on production process improvement and equipment upgrades
• Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting and resolving shop floor challenges
• Use ERP systems to support operations planning and production metrics
• Engage in hands-on problem solving, training, and team development

Education and Experience:

• AAS or BS degree in Engineering or related field
• 4-8 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; SolidWorks is a plus
• Prior involvement in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen events
• Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working across departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance)
