Machine Operator - Blueprint Knowledge required!

$18-20/hr dependent upon experience + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift

• 1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:00pm  OR
• 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:00am - multiple openings!

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an East Syracuse based company to find Machine Operators to join their team!

Prior experience with screw machine operation is preferred, but if you are able to proficiently read blueprints - training will be provided!

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Set up and operate screw machines to produce parts to specification
• Inspection / Quality Control
• Ensure stock does not run out
• Continuously clean out chips
• Monitor condition of machine and report needed repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Screw Machine or CNC experience preferred, but will train!
• General computer skills with the ability to learn SAP
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Proficient in reading blueprints and job instructions is a requirement
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED
