Manufacturing & Packaging Technician

We are looking to hire a Manufacturing & Packaging Technician to work for an established Manufacturer located in Norwich, NY.

Hours:

• 1st Shift (Monday-Friday) 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday) 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3^rd Shift (Sunday Night – Friday Morning) 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON ALL SHIFTS

Pay Rate - $18.00 for 1st Shift, $19.50/hr for 2nd Shift, and $20 /hr for 3^rd Shift

Key duties will include:

• Setting-up equipment and tending machines to produce products
• Inspect, weigh and test ingredients and finished products  
• Transport materials, ingredients, compounds, products and supplies  
• Loading ingredients into machine for manufacturing process
• Unloading manufactured product from machines
• Cleaning manufacturing equipment and modules for regular housekeeping and product changeovers
• Performs data entry to ensure accuracy

Education & Experience include:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Trade School Certification or College degree in a related discipline or Trade School Certification preferred
• Industrial experience desired in manufacturing or packaging
• Mechanical aptitude, strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
• Ability to work extended hours or various shifts
