Lending Associate
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Temporary, with potential for long-term opportunity

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lending Associate to support loan servicing operations at a well-established financial institution in the Utica/Rome area. This role focuses on lien and title processing, claim coordination, and loan documentation compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate lien placement and process electronic and paper lien releases

• Manage title documentation, payoff processing, and vehicle total loss claims

• Coordinate with insurance companies, dealerships, and members

• Respond to credit bureau disputes and maintain compliance with the Service Member Civil Relief Act

• Support internal teams with loan data accuracy and resolution of discrepancies

• Provide professional, timely responses to member inquiries

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1–3+ years of experience in consumer lending or loan servicing preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks independently

• Familiarity with NYS Motor Vehicle Law or UCC filings a plus

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience in lending operations. The role is expected to run through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement depending on future business needs.
