$60,000 –$102,000 annually (includes 20% overtime)

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a skilled Utility Electrical Distribution Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a medium-voltage (up to 15kV) electrical distribution system. This hands-on role is ideal for those with experience in utility work who are looking for stability, growth, and the opportunity to support critical infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

• Install and maintain overhead/underground electrical systems

• Perform cable splicing, switching, and grounding

• Operate digger derricks, trenchers, and related field equipment

• Troubleshoot faults and restore power

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency response

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1–3+ years of electrical distribution experience preferred

• CDL Class A or B (or ability to obtain in 6 months)

• Familiarity with OSHA, NESC, and NFPA 70E standards

• Strong safety focus and teamwork mindset

Work Environment:

• Outdoor, all-weather conditions

• Lifting up to 50 lbs., working in vaults or at heights

• On-call and extended hours as needed during outages
