Are you a driven developer ready to take ownership of cutting-edge AI and cloud-based tools that directly improve healthcare logistics? Our client, a fast-growing pharmaceutical distribution and 3PL provider, is expanding its in-house engineering team and looking for a technically versatile Application Developer to help lead that charge.

This is not a “maintenance-mode” role. This is an opportunity to design, build, and scale new web-based applications, AI-driven tools, and backend data systems that will impact both internal operations and external customers across the healthcare supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the development of internal software tools and customer-facing portals hosted in AWS.
• Designing and implementing cloud-first solutions using Python, SQL, and API integrations.
• Applying AI and data mining techniques to real-world problems – streamlining processes, automating decisions, and enhancing visibility across the supply chain.
• Collaborating with stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture – where IT isn’t just support, it’s a strategic driver.
• Working side-by-side with technical leadership and executive decision-makers to bring complex ideas to life.
• Participating in key initiatives including ERP integration, cloud scaling, and the construction of a new data warehouse.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Practical working knowledge of AWS (especially EC2 and infrastructure management).
• Solid SQL skills – including data modeling, scripting, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools (even if not production-level expertise).
• A builder’s mindset – able to work independently, problem-solve, and take the lead on new technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams and customers.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience integrating cloud applications via REST APIs.
• Background in deploying machine learning models or data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with tools like Docker, Power BI, or front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of ERP systems or healthcare distribution workflows.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for this position.
