Senior Strategic Account Executive – Structured Cabling & Data Center Solutions
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Syracuse, NY Preferred)
Compensation: $80,000–$150,000 base + Uncapped Commission | OTE $200,000–$350,000+


About the Role:
We're looking for a results-oriented, relationship-focused sales professional to help grow one of the most respected structured cabling brands in the enterprise IT space.


As a Senior Strategic Account Executive supporting our structured cabling division, you’ll lead the charge in identifying and closing large-scale data center opportunities. You'll work closely with technical decision-makers and infrastructure leaders to deliver high-performance, scalable fiber solutions that keep modern networks running clean and fast.

This is a high-impact role for someone who knows the structured cabling market, understands how to align technical solutions with enterprise goals, and is passionate about winning.

What You’ll Be Selling:
  • Custom-engineered structured cabling and fiber connectivity solutions
  • Plug-and-play infrastructure tailored for enterprise and hyperscale data centers
  • Value-based, performance-validated solutions from a nationally recognized brand
  • Lifecycle guidance for organizations scaling or modernizing mission-critical networks

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Hunting and closing net-new business in enterprise and data center environments
  • Developing and managing high-level client relationships across your territory
  • Partnering with architects, engineers, and IT stakeholders to deliver solution-based proposals
  • Accurately forecasting pipeline and territory performance
  • Staying sharp on market trends, competitive shifts, and evolving customer needs
  • Working independently while contributing as part of a high-performing national sales team
  • Traveling to key customer sites, data centers, or trade shows as needed

Who You Are:
  • A structured cabling pro with 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience
  • Adept at solution-based selling — not just products, but outcomes
  • Comfortable working with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Well-versed in data center environments, fiber optics, and network infrastructure challenges
  • Organized, self-motivated, and deeply accountable to your pipeline and goals
  • Confident, persuasive, and natural in front of customers
  • Ready to join a team where technical credibility, strategic thinking, and competitive drive are the norm

Preferred Background:
  • Experience in structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, or data center environments
  • Strategic account management experience with enterprise or Fortune 1000 clients
  • Familiarity with OEM competitors and industry players (e.g., Panduit, Belden, Corning, Legrand, etc.)
