Powerhouse Systems Technician – 1st Shift

Pay: $32-34/hour DOE

A leading Syracuse manufacturer is seeking a Powerhouse Systems Technician to join their maintenance team. This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure boiler systems, power generation equipment, and critical utilities in a complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and repair steam boilers, air compressors, pumps, motors, and related electrical/mechanical systems
• Perform chemical tests and adjustments to maintain boiler efficiency and safety
• Troubleshoot and repair analog and digital control systems
• Install and maintain high-pressure steam lines, valves, traps, and insulation throughout the facility
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams
• Use hand tools and pipe-fitting machinery for system repairs and modifications
• Update scheduling data within the energy management system

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with boilers, compressors, electrical equipment, and pressurized piping systems
• Ability to read and work from schematics and blueprints
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and strong problem-solving skills preferred
