Our client is a fast-growing pharmaceutical distributor and 3PL partner specializing in direct supply to VA hospitals, long-term care facilities, and independent pharmacies nationwide. With a growing team and a strong mission-driven culture, they are now hiring a Senior Purchasing Analyst to take a strategic role in improving sourcing efficiency and vendor partnerships.

About the Opportunity
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience in pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, or other highly regulated environments who is ready to make a larger impact and grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate vendors for pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and vendor contracts to improve cost efficiency
• Monitor and process purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment
• Collaborate with internal teams to anticipate supply needs and prevent shortages
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor performance
• Partner directly with manufacturers to establish long-term relationships
• Stay current with procurement trends, regulatory changes, and supply chain technology

• Proven experience in purchasing, ideally within pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated industries
• Strong understanding of vendor management, cost analysis, and contract negotiation
• Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for savings, and make sound decisions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Desire and aptitude to grow into a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
