Dock Worker / 61261

Pay Rate: $18-19.50/hr DOE

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00am-11:00am OR  4:00am-noon, plus every 3rd Saturday

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Dock Worker to join a well-established produce company in Utica, NY.

As a Dock Worker, you will be responsible for reviewing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and providing excellent customer service to their customer base. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate motivation, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.  There is a possibility this role could turn into a driver role.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing orders and ensuring accuracy
• Loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Providing excellent customer service to our customer base
• Operating motorized hand carts to move materials around the dock
• Lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Background in the food industry a plus
