Their mission is to enhance security and situational awareness through real-time, scalable sensor technology—supporting critical operations for government, military, and commercial sectors alike.

As their presence grows within the federal and defense landscape, they are seeking a Strategic Marketing Lead to develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies tailored to U.S. defense agencies and related federal audiences.

What You’ll Do

Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Conduct deep market research on defense and federal trends, use cases, and competitors.
  • Translate insights into smart marketing strategies that shape business decisions.
Messaging & Content Strategy
  • Craft differentiated messaging and content that speaks directly to defense customers.
  • Develop materials that may include marketing briefs, OV-1s, and targeted collateral aligned with brand tone.
Demand Generation
  • Lead and optimize multi-channel campaigns to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics and refine campaigns for maximum impact.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Drive ABM strategy to reach high-value government accounts.
  • Manage lead flows and ensure marketing efforts align closely with sales goals.
Customer Journey & Personas
  • Define and evolve Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and personas.
  • Build a seamless buyer journey that fosters engagement and trust throughout the sales cycle.
Partner & Channel Marketing
  • Collaborate with external partners on co-marketing initiatives to broaden reach within the defense ecosystem.
  • Build joint strategies that align with mutual goals and compliance standards.
Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Interface regularly with sales and product teams to ensure marketing reflects technical capabilities and market needs.
  • Provide client and market feedback that helps inform product development.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on technology and defense industries.
  • Background in campaign execution, content development, and digital marketing.
  • Direct experience marketing to government agencies, contractors, or military audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with defense procurement processes and compliance standards (e.g., ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARs, NIST 800-171).
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tools.
  • Prior work in remote environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of ethical marketing practices in federal/defense sectors.

Compensation & Perks
  • Salary Range: $115,000 – $142,000 (based on experience and location)
