Temporary Receptionist
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
$17-20/hr DOE

Are you a reliable and organized professional with strong communication skills? A reputable company in North Syracuse, NY is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to provide front desk and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining valuable office experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and route telephone calls

  • Greet, screen, and badge visitors and guests

  • Maintain and update the visitor database

  • Provide reception support across buildings as needed, including stocking supplies and assisting with meetings

  • Schedule conference rooms and coordinate IT support for meetings

  • Process vendor payments, requisitions, and electronic forms

  • Review and coordinate catering requests

  • Procure office supplies and equipment

  • Distribute mail and maintain filing systems

  • Compile data for reports

  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • A team player with a professional and customer-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating a switchboard or multi-line phone system

  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative support
