Temporary Receptionist
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
$17-20/hr DOE
Are you a reliable and organized professional with strong communication skills? A reputable company in North Syracuse, NY is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to provide front desk and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining valuable office experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer, screen, and route telephone calls
Greet, screen, and badge visitors and guests
Maintain and update the visitor database
Provide reception support across buildings as needed, including stocking supplies and assisting with meetings
Schedule conference rooms and coordinate IT support for meetings
Process vendor payments, requisitions, and electronic forms
Review and coordinate catering requests
Procure office supplies and equipment
Distribute mail and maintain filing systems
Compile data for reports
Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
A team player with a professional and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating a switchboard or multi-line phone system
Previous experience in customer service or administrative support
