CPS Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to help maintain safe, clean, and functional residential properties. This full-time, on-site position supports daily operations, ensuring the upkeep of buildings and grounds while assisting with repairs and responding to maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of common areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform general building repairs
• Conduct painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and masonry work as needed
• Operate and maintain tools, lawn mowers, and snow blowers
• Be available for 24-hour on-call property emergencies (must live within 30 minutes)
• Support the team by filling in for other staff during extended absences

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in janitorial or building maintenance preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Valid NYS driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and professional when interacting with tenants and vendors
