Electronics Hardware Technician / 61122
$25-27/hr DOE + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift

CPS Recruitment is seeking an Electronics Hardware Technician to perform circuit card secondary operations at a manufacturing facility in Syracuse, NY.

1st and 2nd shift positions are available!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hand soldering and assembly of complex electrical and mechanical components.
• Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions to complete projects.
• Use basic computer skills to access work instructions and procedures.
• Adapt quickly to changing job assignments and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate’s degree in a technical field with less experience.
• Proficient in hand tools, battery-operated tools, and soldering techniques (Class 2 Soldering required).
• J-STD-002 Solder Certification and experience with SMT rework or board heaters are a plus.
• Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and work well with others.
• General computer skills (Word, Excel) and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
