Press Brake Operator / 62125

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate both CNC and mechanical press brakes. This role is responsible for installing coining and air form tooling, producing high-quality sheet metal components, and meeting established production goals. Compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brakes using coining and air form tooling

• Produce quality sheet metal parts while maintaining hourly production targets

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Inspect finished parts using basic measurement tools and document results

• Load and unload materials and assist with packing as needed

• Support other fabrication tasks when required

Qualifications

• 3–5+  years of experience setting up press brakes for sheet metal (.020"–.375" steel, stainless steel, or aluminum)

• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings

• Proficiency with basic inspection equipment and quality documentation

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Capable of lifting metal parts and standing for extended periods during an 8-hour shift

• Additional sheet metal fabrication experience (punch press, spot weld, PEM, etc.) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• PTO: 40 hours in year one; 80 hours in year two

• 8 paid holidays annually
